Oatmeal

Oats are associated strongly with Scotland because, though the originated in the Middle East, they tolerate cooler summer temperatures and higher rainfall. Oats are the main ingredient in the Scottish staple of porridge, traditionally made with salt and water, but today often with sugar and cream. Oats are a lot less fattening in our soap range fortunately, where their gentle cleansing and exfoliant properties are very effective.
